UQU Boosts Skills of Academic Staff with Modern Trends in Teaching

The Dean of Development and Quality, Dr. Muhammad Jaafar Thabit, launched "Modern Trends in Teaching," a training program to develop and boost the skills of the academic staff, in the presence of the vice deans at the development hall in Al-Abdiyyah.  
 
He explained that such programs aim to create a positive attitude amongst the teaching staff and apply modern trends in teaching to keep pace with scientific developments and create a scientific environment conducive to creativity and progress. 
 
Dr. Thabit added that his deanship endeavors to achieve several goals from these training programs, including implementing the requirements of the educational and academic environment, honing the skills of the academic staff, and choosing the best teaching trends to improve the university's outcomes. 
 
He stressed that the program aims to create specialized academic staff capable of developing modern and effective educational and research processes to meet the needs of students and improve the university’s outcomes in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
