In honor of Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khuli, the UQU Vice President of Female Student Affairs, and under the leadership of the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Hadil bint Jamal Azhar, the English Language Department launched the activities of the first academic forum, "Languages are the Keys of Hope for Consolidation and Work: Vision 2030 and beyond". The forum aims to highlight the importance of the majors offered by the Department in light of the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030.

The forum was attended by a number of female university leaders, including the Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls for Educational Affairs, Dr. Khulud Al-Yousef, Advisor to the UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Haifa' Fida, the Vice Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Fatimah Al-Ghamdi, the Vice-Dean of Scientific Research for Development, Quality, and Academic Accreditation, Dr. Hanadi Bihiri, the Vice Dean of Scientific Research for Research Volunteering and volunteer studies, Dr. Sumayah Sharaf, the Vice Dean of the College of Social Science, Dr. Khulud Al-Thabiti, in addition to a number of female vice deans, academic staff, as well as Umm Al-Qura University female students and affiliates.

Members of the English Language Department, including Dr. Khulud Al-Thabiti, Dr. In`am Maglad, Dr. Samyah Al-Gabri, Dr. Suzan Bardis, Ms. Dima Abdul-Jabbar, and the two female students Ru'ya Tambusi and Mi`ad Al-Maqati, took part in the forum.

Both Dr. Muharram Turkistani and Dr. Tahani Al-Harbi held a dialogue with the guests of honor, who had graduated from the Department of English Language at Umm Al-Qura University: Dr. Hanin Shu`ayb, Dean of the College of Advertising in the University of Business and Technology in Jeddah, Dr. Iman Kardi, Vice Dean of the College of Advertising at the University of Business and Technology in Jeddah, Ms. Hadeel Gadullah, Manager of Al Rajhi Bank, Abdullah Arif Street Branch, and Ms. Wurud Bukhari, Director of Makarim Ajyad Hotel Reservations in Makkah.

The forum included a joint exhibition in which Dr. Aishah Al-Subhi, Dr. Khadija Al-Jabri, Dr. Suzan Wazan, the postgraduate student Khulud bin Siddiq, and a large number of the Department's female students took part.

Dr. Hadil Azhar, the Deputy Head of the Department, concluded the forum by thanking and praising Allah. She, along with Dr. Mahasin Abu Mansour, presented certificates of thanks and appreciation to the participants and the work team, which included Dr. Fadia Mari`ani, Dr. Nada Al-Utaybi, Dr. Nasim Al-Utaybi, Ms. Tahani Basnawi, and the members who have already been mentioned. She asked Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to help make this forum the beginning of the scientific movement and academic activity in the Department.
