The President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas on Wednesday Dhul-Hijjah 1437 H, honored at his office in the university campus at Abdyiah Dr. Basim Omar Qadi, for the sincere efforts he exerted during the period of his previous tenure as an advisor and deputy supervisor general of the legal department in the university for four years. The honoring ceremony took place in the presence the Supervisor General of the Legal Department Dr. Hamdan bin Darweesh Al-Ghamdi and the Advisor to the UQU President, and Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi.   
 

Meanwhile, Dr. Assas praised the efforts exerted by Dr. Qadi and wished him every success in his duties and tasks and to be an example to be followed as a dedicated citizen in serving his nation in general, and Umm Al-Qura University in particular. He also praised his outstanding role during his scientific and educational march in the university in the service of his nation and community.  
 

The honoring of an affiliate by the university, he confirmed, is a continuation of the tradition adopted by our wise leadership in honoring distinguished citizens for serving their country in all fields and branches of knowledge.
 

For his part. Dr. Qadi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the UQU President Dr. Assas for honoring him, describing such noble gesture as a high idealism he is characterized by in dealing with all affiliates of this blessed university.

He also extended his thanks to the Supervisor General of the Legal Department Dr. Hamdan bin Darweesh Al-Ghamdi and the Advisor to the UQU President, Supervisor General of his office, Mr. Essam bin Hassan Margooshi and all those who are in charge of such a lofty academic edifice (Umm Al-Qura University) and he prayed to Allah to make his honoring an incentive for him to serve his country, community and nation.
