Participants in the Future Entrepreneurs Forum being held from 4-7 Rabe' Al-Awal 1440 A.H. under the patronage of the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, continued the workshops and cultural and orientation meetings in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation at the institute's headquarters in Al-`Abdiyyah for males and Al-Zahir campus for females.
The orientation workshops of the forum, which were presented by a number of experts and specialists in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, covered the following topics: marketing; entrepreneurial readiness assessment of youth in innovation and cognitive creativity; the entry mechanism into the e-commerce market; and self-employment culture.
The Dean of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute, Dr. Mowfaq Oreijah, said that proceeding from Saudi Vision 2030 supporting the knowledge-based economy of investment in human capital, the institute was very keen to organize the forum, support student graduation projects, and develop their innovative and creative ideas to contribute to serving the nation and achieving leadership in all fields.
Dr. Oreijah said he valued Prof. Bafail’s support for the activities and programs of the institute, which are compatible with the future strategy of the university that was designed in line with Saudi Vision 2030. He also praised the efforts of the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Hany bin Osman Ghazy. He also took the opportunity to praise the efforts exerted by the institute's vice-deans and staff who contributed to the success of this forum, which provides an opportunity to boost the culture of creativity and innovation in the university community.
