His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, has issued an administrative decree based on a decision of His Excellency the Minister of Education to appoint his Eminence Prof. Abdul-Wahhab bin Abdullah bin Salih Al-Risini as the Dean of the Higher Institute for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice for a tenure of two years, from Rabi' Al-Awwal 4, 1440 AH., in addition to his current work.

We supplicate Allah to support him and grant him success in carrying out his mission towards knowledge and knowledge seekers, and enable the University to reach its desired goals.

His Excellency's decree is part of the comprehensive developmental activity that the University is witnessing in all fields. It is also part of the University's earnest endeavors to achieve its goals, fulfill its vision, and accomplish its future mission in order for it to be a pioneer in terms of its various programs and activities that are in harmony with the Saudi Vision 2030.
