The UQU Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy, met with the college vice deans, department heads, and female students at the headquarters of the Vice-Deanship of University Studies for Girls at Al-`Aziziyyah to discuss their needs and future aspirations with regards to the successful implementation of the ‘Be Happy’ initiative. The meeting took place at Al-Manahil Hall in the college theatre and was held in the presence of the Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls at Al-`Aziziyyah, Dr. Majidah bint Muhammad Al-Towaijry
The ceremony began with a Quranic recitation. This was followed by a speech from Dr. Majidah Al-Towaijry, who welcomed the audience and made a presentation about the program of the Vice-Deanship of University Studies for Girls at Al-`Aziziyyah for the ‘Be Happy’ initiative, which was launched as per the directives of the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah Bafail, with the aim of spreading happiness and a spirit of optimism amongst students and urging them to work diligently and participate in extra- curricular programs and activities which hone their talents and contribute to the development of their cognitive skills.
Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy acknowledged the efforts of the Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls at Al-`Aziziyyah in serving the female staff and students of the university. She also praised the support and guidance of Prof. Abdullah Bafail and wished success and progress for everyone.
Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy, accompanied by Dr. Majidah Al-Towaijry and a number of the academic staff, toured the Alternative Medicine Exhibition organized by the Department of Biology in the College of Applied Sciences at the headquarters of the Vice-Deanship of University Studies for Girls at Al-`Aziziyyah.
