The UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Inaugurates the Meeting of the Female Faculty Members

The UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy, inaugurated the meeting of the female faculty members organized by the Deanship of University Studies and entitled, "Let us develop new meanings for happiness and satisfaction." This meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, Dr. Farid bin `Aly Al-Ghamdy, the Dean of University Studies for Girls, Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, and other vice deans. The meeting was held via closed-circuit television (CCTV) at Al-Jawhara Hall at the University's headquarters at Al-Zahir. 


The UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy, clarified that this meeting aimed to present different ideas and opinions, through which they seek to achieve the utmost satisfaction of the University female staff. The meeting also aimed to enable the staff to reach an outstanding level academically, having the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness. This is based on a set of pillars, which include the female faculty members. Dr. Sarah also appreciated the support and attention given by His Excellency the University Director, Prof. Dr. `Abdullah ibn Omar Bahsain Bafail to the educational environment, and his endeavors to make it comply with international standards. 


The Dean of University Studies for Girls, Dr. Hala Al-Amoudi, clarified that the female faculty members play a central role in the achievement of the University strategies, referring to the fact that the more advanced universities focus on three main functions: education, scientific research, and community service. In addition, she indicated that the faculty members play a major role in these functions.


The Dean of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdy, tackled a number of issues relevant to the female faculty members, including the administrative procedures, by-laws, and regulations. He also stressed that the Deanship of Faculty Members is keen to adapt all the administrative procedures that will contribute to boosting the educational aspects via the services provided to the faculty member.
