The UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy, sponsored the introductory meeting organized by the Deanship of University Studies for Girls entitled "Let us make new meanings for happiness and satisfaction." The meeting was held in the presence of the Dean of University Studies for Girls, Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi; the Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls, Dr. Farida bint Muhammad Al-Ghamdi; the Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls for Educational Affairs and Development, Dr. Khulud bint Saad Al-Yousef; and a number of female faculty members and employees. The meeting took place at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday 14 Safar, 1440 A.H. at Al-Jawarah Hall in the female campus.
The ceremony opened with a welcome speech, followed by Qur'anic recitation, then a speech by the UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs, Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy, who referred to the importance of knowledge development, which contributes to the provision of the best services and overcoming obstacles facing female faculty members and employees under an integrated system of giving and happiness.
For her part, the Dean of University Studies for Girls, Dr. Hala Al-Amoudi, stressed the importance of the role of faculty members in turning modern developments and advanced cognitive plans into reality in a manner that contributes to boosting work performance and university output.
In the same vein, Prof. Farid bin Aly Al-Ghamdy welcomed the audience in his speech broadcast via closed-circuit television (CCTV) from his office at the university campus in Al-`Aziziyyah. He extended his thanks to the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, for the confidence entrusted to him in his role as Dean of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, stressing the importance of exerting fruitful and dedicated efforts to serve the university, provide quality services, and facilitate procedures in such an integrated system.
He also reviewed the most important services provided for the faculty members and employees in an attractive presentation covering all social, cultural, and administrative services and explaining all their procedures.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, Prof. Farid Al-Ghamdy, took questions from female faculty members and employees, identified their needs, listened to their proposals, and responded to them.
