Dr. Abdullah bin Omar BaFail, the President of UQU, watched a presentation for the future vision and plan of the Deanship of Students Affairs that is emerging from the UQU future vision towards spreading the spirit of joy and optimism between the students. The presentation was attended by Dr. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Srouji, the Vice-president of Educational Affairs; Dr. Amr bin Taha Al-Saqaf, the Dean of the Student Affairs; and the Deanship’s Vice Deans. It took place at his office at the University City in Al-Abediya Campus.
The UQU President praised the support of the wise leadership for the educational process and its administrative and academic environment. He stressed on the importance of the extra-curricular activities in alignment with the Kingdom Vision 2030 which would contribute to enriching the talents of the students and developing their knowledge and innovation skill.
He added that through these activities, we can offer special programs beside the academic ones, which promote the students’ knowledge skills through their student clubs that are considered the main starting point for their participation in these activities. He then wished the students best of luck and success to achieve their aspirations towards serving this country. He also lauded the efforts of the Deanship of Students Affairs for holding awareness programs.
Moreover, Dr. Saqaf noted that the Deanship is working on offering various programs for the students through the student clubs to help them on innovation and scientific excellence to contribute to enriching their talents. He added that the student is considered the center of the Deanship's works and activities through the innovative solutions and programs it offer.
He pointed that the Deanship is also working on activating the role of the student support center, developing the skills of the outstanding students, and offering an integrated methodology to enhance the quality of activities. He then lauded the support and directives of Dr. BaFail for all the Deanship’s various programs and activities, which directly care about the development of the students’ skills. He also praised the follow-up of Dr. Srouji on the Deanship's activities.
