At her office in Al-Zaher-based Girls Section premises, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khouly, UQU Vice-President for Female Student Affairs, received Vice Deans of Student Affairs on Sunday, 12th Safar 1440H. The visitors were Dr. Amal bint Omar Sanady, Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Guidance, Direction, and Community Partnership, and Dr. Luluoa bint Saleh Al-Harthy, Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Student Services. This was on the occasion of launching the campaign entitled, “My University Is Part of the Holy Land” in its seventh year under the theme, “Makkah Is Wholly Holy.” It is worth mentioning that the campaign was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs for Guidance, Direction, and Community Partnership. This was in partnership with (Hajar) Program in the Sacred Land Exaltation Project and in the presence of its General Supervisor, Mrs. Manal Al-Jabry.
On its first day, the awareness campaign started with a tour by a crowd of UQU students and affiliates accompanied by songs that reinforced within them awareness of the exaltation of the holiness bestowed on Makkah by Allah. In this regard, UQU comprised the Meccan model of the exaltation concept and status honor.
In turn, Dr. Sarah Al-Khouly hailed the significance of Sacred Land exaltation for all Muslims. In other words, she explained the aim of the exaltation message, i.e. to promote human values towards the sanctity and status of Makkah within the hearts of Muslims.
At the end of the meeting, and represented by its vice deans, the Deanship of Student Affairs, gave a souvenir to Dr. Sarah Al-Khouly.
