The Deanship of Library Affairs is pleased to announce to Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) students the availability of ACM digital database as part of the available foreign databases through the Saudi Digital Library (SDL) or logging in directly from inside the university campus.
The dataebase features a complete collection of the publications of the American Association for Computing Machinery, including journals, conference proceedings, technical magazines, newsletters and books.
The ACM Digital Library has the most comprehensive full-text collection of publications, including:
- More than 2 million pages of full-text articles
- 272,000 full-text articles
- 200,000 new full-text articles added every year
- More than 40 high-classification magazines
- More than 270 titles of conference proceedings
- More than 2000 volumes of conference proceedings
- 90 international magazines including Communications of the ACM
- 43 specialized groups in different computing fields
- More than 800 multimedia files, including sound, video and animation
It covers the following fields: computing, computer engineering, communications, software engineering and related sciences.
