Under the auspices of Dr. Abdullah bin Omar BaFail, the President of UQU, the Umm Al-Qura University celebrated Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Assas, its former President, honoring the end of its term as a President for the University. It will be attended by a number of presidents of universities, Vice Presidents and Deans, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Khouli, the UQU Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, Dean of University Studies for Girls, a number of Vice Deans of the University’s branches, the Vice Deans of the Supporting Deanships and the University’s Affiliates. It was held on Wednesday, Safar 1, 1440H, at 09:00 pm at King Abdul-Aziz Historical Hall at the University Campus in Abdyia.

The celebration included a number of ceremonies highlighting the former President’s path and progress in serving the UQU, his efforts during his term in serving this university edifice and promoting the the educational process and its administrative and research environment, in addition to the support he gave to a number of programs and activities that serve the students and get the educational process to the modern development renaissance.
