The President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Ba-Hussein Bafail, has issued an administrative decision appointing Dr. Saud bin Salem bin Abdul-Rahim Bawazeer as Dean of the College of Pharmacy.

In this regard, the President hailed the tireless efforts exerted by Dr. Ahmed bin Omar bin Ahmed Bablgaith the Former Dean of the College of Pharmacy, all through his tenure. He also pointed out that he appreciated Dr. Bablgaith's great achievements, which had the greatest impact on the advancement of the university. He added that such achievements were fulfilled thanks to Allah, the Almighty, then to the support by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

On the other hand, Prof. Bafail congratulated Dr. Bawazeer. He confirmed that the new dean should resume diligence and hard work to develop the work and efforts of the former dean. He also wished him all success and progress.

 In turn, Bawazeer appreciated the trust of UQU President in him with such a position. Moreover, he accentuated that he would meet the President’s expectations, Allah willing! In addition, he hailed the efforts of the former dean Dr. Ahmed Bablgaith, pointing out that he would develop the work in the college in accordance with the Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Plan 2020.
