In a ceremony organized by the Institute for Research and Consulting Studies in honor of Dr. Amira bint Jamil Khasifan, under the title of “Work is Her Attribute… Dedication is Her Feature”, on the occasion of the end of her tenure as the vice-dean of the Institute, Dr. Sara bint Omar Al-Kholi, UQU Vice-President for Female Students Affairs, attended the ceremony in recognition of her efforts and achievements. Among the attendees were Dr. Hala bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, dean of the University Studies; Dr. Fareeda bint Mohamed Al-Ghamdi, vice-dean of the University Studies; and Dr. Kholoud bint Saad Al-Yousef, vice-dean of the University Studies for Development and Educational Affairs. They were received by Dr. Noura Al-Farouqi, vice-dean of the Institute for Research and Consulting Studies, along with a number of vice-deans of the deanships and colleges as well as heads of departments. The ceremony was on Monday, 30/12/1439 AH, at Al-Jafali Hall (3), Al-Zaher HQ, Females Section.
The ceremony began with a welcoming introduction to the audience, followed by a wonderful recitation from the Holy Quran, and then a speech of love and gratitude delivered by Dr. Sara Al-Khouli, in which she thanked Dr. Amira Khasifan for her dedication to the work of the Institute and her fruitful participation, wishing her success in continuing her career.
In her turn, Dr. Hala Al-Amoudi thanked the efforts of Dr. Amira Khasifan to provide her with the service of UQU in general and the Institute of Research and University Studies in particular, wishing her more progress and success.
Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al-Shaeri, Dean of the Institute for Research and Consulting Studies, thanked Dr. Amira Al-Khasifan for her sincere service to UQU and the Institute during her mandate.
Also Dr. Noura Al-Farouqi, thanked Dr. Amira for the blessed efforts and outstanding success, praying to Allah to bless and reward her.
This was followed by a video presentation of the outstanding achievements of Dr. Amira during years of dedication to Umm Al-Qura University.
Thereafter, the participants expressed their words of love, loyalty and gratitude, and the ceremony was decorated with gifts.
The ceremony ended by cutting the tart to celebrate this happy occasion.
