UQU Vice President for Student Affairs Opens Newcomers’ Forum Under Slogan “Future Portal”

Under the generous sponsorship of the UQU Vice President for Student Affairs (girls), Dr. Sarah bin Omar Al-Khouli, the forum of newcomers was opened on Monday 23 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1439AH under the slogan “Future Portal”. It was organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs to receive the students with the start of the academic year over the from 23 to 25 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1439AH in the presence of the Vice Dean of University Studies, Dr. Halah bint Saeed Al-Amoudi, as well as the Vice Deans of Colleges and Department Heads. It was held from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm at King Saud hall at Al-Abideyah campus.

Dr. Al-Khouli was received by the Vice Dean of Student Affairs for Activities and Student Training, Dr. Kholoud bint Mohamed Aboulnaja; the Vice Dean of Students Affairs for Direction, Guidance and Community Partnership, Dr. Amal bint Omar Sandi; the Vice Dean of Students Affairs for Student Support, Dr. Mona bint Mohamed Haji, and the Vice Dean of Students Affairs for Student Services, Dr. Loulou’a bint Salih Al-Harthi.

The meeting started with a tour around the fair of the forum, which included introductory corners of the programs and activities of the colleges each student belongs to, as well as introduction to the services and programs the supporting deanships and administrations would be offering within the framework of the University’s attention to allowing students to achieve their ambitions throughout their educational journey while also benefiting -as much as possible- from the capabilities of the University for students.

In her speech, Dr. Al-Khouli congratulated the students who were admitted in UQU, noting that all students must work hard and have persistence during the time of their study, wishing for everyone success.

As the meeting came to a close, Dr. Al-Khouli extended her thanks to the UQU President, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail for his support to the programs and activities that contribute to improving the university’s entity. She also praised the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs to organize fruitful meetings that serve all students.

At the end, the UQU Vice President for Student Affairs honored all the bodies taking part in the newcomers’ forum in an atmosphere of achievements. A cake was then cut in celebration of this occasion.
