Faculty Members and Staff Administration Announces Date of E-recommencement Service

In order to keep abreast of electronic dealings at Umm Al Qura University (UQU) towards electronic governance (e-governance), given the University Council’s decision no. (4390011766/1/10) on 3/2/1439AH to approve the University Calendar, after looking into Article 56 of the bylaw regulating the affairs of Saudi university employees including faculty members and others in similar positions, the Faculty Member and Staff Administration, in cooperation with the Deanship of Information Technology, announces that:

The e-recommencement service for faculty members will start on Monday 16 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1439AH through the e-portal.

Mr. Saeed Al-Sulami, Head of the Administration of Faculty Members and Staff Affairs, said that the e-governance of the University is in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The Administration of Faculty and Staff members, in collaboration with the Deanship of Information Technology, was keen on activating the e-recommencement service for faculty members. It allows them upload the e-recommencement through the system of electronic services on the university's website. It is approved by the Head of the Department and Dean of the College.

Mr. Al-Sulami stressed that out of the keenness on the concept of transparency, each faculty member can follow-up the progress of his recommencement and the extent to which it is accepted or rejected, with the rejections reasons mentioned in the latter case. He also praised the support and directives of the UQU President, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and the UQU Vice President, Dr. Yasser bin Soliman Shosho, as well as their keenness to support the system of the University staff services.
