Tomorrow, Tuesday, Shawwal 12, 1439 AH, the Deanship of Admission and Registration at Umm Al-Qura University will be launching the second round of admission for the year 1439 AH to all departments and specialties, at the University’s main headquarters in Makkah, and its branches in the provinces of Jamoum, Al-Leith, Adham, and Al-Qunfudhah. This will be via the unified electronic admission portal, until Shawwal 16, 1439 AH.

Dr. Hashem bin Ahmad Al-Samadani, Dean of Admission and Registration, stated that all capabilities have been worked out and facilitated by the Deanship of Admission and Registration for the students applying for a bachelor’s degree or diploma. Dr. Al-Samadani added that the second round of admission requires the student to log in the admission portal and follow the steps demonstrated in the admission guide on the website of the Deanship of Admission and Registration. He explained that these steps include submitting the enrollment application; selecting the place of study, the path, and specialties; arranging them as desired; uploading the required documents (secondary school certificate - ID card/family card - personal photo for male students only). For students from course system schools, he said they need to upload their transcript that contains their grades. He pointed out that this round allows each applicant to insert more than one choice, listed by order of priority. He further clarified that the number of available choices varies depending on the applicant’s weighted percentage.

Dr. Al-Samadani lauded the support and attention given by His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of the University, and by Prof. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Serouji, University’s Vice President for Educational Affairs. He also praised their keenness on arranging all the capabilities and procedures that help students complete the stages of applying to join the University too easily. Dr. Al-Samadani pointed out that the University – thanks to God – works on developing its programs every year in a way that keeps up with the Saudi Vision 2030.
