The President of UQU, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, has approved the specialization of Preparatory Year students at the University’s headquarters and its branches for academic year 1439AH at the various scientific and theoretical specialties during the meeting held today at his office. The meeting was held in the presence of the Vice President of UQU for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Serouji, and the Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Hashim Ahmed Al-Samadani, in addition to several Vice Presidents of UQU.
Dr. Serouji explained that the approval of the UQU President of the specialization of preparatory year students stems from the attention and support he gives to preparing the educational environment for the students of the University and facilitating all their academic procedures. He added that the Deanship of Admission and Registration and the Deanship of Information Technology have both worked to prepare all the academic and educational procedures for the students of the University for this academic year 1439AH.
For his part, Dr. Al-Samadani explained that the specialization program for preparatory year students is one of the programs that the Deanship of Admission and Registration worked on. It comes once a student successfully passes the preparatory year and achieves the required rate. Students’ specialization depends on the percentage and their GPA. Dr. Al-Samadani added that the University has been keen on achieving the students’ desires in accordance with these standards. He added that with the support of the UQU President and the Vice President for Educational Affairs, the Deanship of Admission and Registration always seeks to develop all its programs and academic procedures in accordance with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision.
