The UQU Consulting Research and Studies Institute launched the professional counselor training course certified by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) for 20 senior officials and faculty members in the university to qualify them to provide better professional counselling services for the government and private agencies. The training course which takes place at Hayat Park Hotel in Jeddah will last from Dhul-Qe'dah 18 to 20, 1437H. Meanwhile, the Dean of the Institute, Dr. Ali bin Mohamed Al-Shaari said: this course comes as an initiative from the Consulting Research and Studies Institute and the Vice-Deanship for Support of Professional Accreditation to support the knowledge-based economy in line with the Kingdom vision 2030 and step forward in the investment in innovation based training and education. He added that the institute will provide the participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to offer high quality and professional counselling services. He lauded the support offered by the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas to provide high-quality training and qualification programs in line with the scientific status of Umm Al-Qura University. He also praised the close follow-up of the UQU Vice President for Business and Innovation Dr. Nabeel Koshak. It's noteworthy that Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in the United Kingdom aims basically to develop skills of the counsellors and managers to improve their knowledge in management and leadership effectively.
