In implementation of the directives of the rulers and to achieve its ambitions to develop Jamoum Province in the educational field, the Dean of Jamoum University College, Dr. Faisal Abdul-Qadir Baghdadi met with the Governor of Jamoum, Mr. Amran Hassan Al-Zahrani on Tuesday Dhul-Qe'dah 20, 1437H in the presence of the College Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Tawfiq El-Sherief, the College Vice Dean, Dr. Yousif Al-Otaibi and the College Administration Manager, Mr. Majid Al-Saadi. During the meeting which took place in the governor's office, Dr. Faisal briefed the Governor on the projects of the university city and the university campus buildings which are well-furnished and equipped with the latest educational devices. Additionally, Dr. Baghdadi indicated that students will move to the new buildings of Jamoum university college starting from the first semester of the coming academic year.
He added that and agreement was made between the University College represented by the Expertise House for Administrative Development, Quality and Development and Jamoum Province to develop the strategic plan of the province and set the executive plan of the province program in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, besides following-up the plans, studying and analyzing performance indicators after achieving the program.
For his part, the Governor of Jamoum, Mr. Amran Al-Zahrani prayed to Allah to crown the developments plans of the province with success in such manner that pleases Allah in the first place and then the rulers and to achieve their ambitions to localize and upgrade education and to make real whatever facilitates such a thing.
Mr. Al-Zahrani extended his thanks to the Advisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Emir of Makkah, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal for paying the province his full attention and for his incessant directives to exert more efforts to upgrade the province at all fields particularly education.
He also extended his thanks to UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for his significant role in achieving the new university buildings and for his direct supervision that contributed to implementing the new buildings in a record time with high quality specifications.
