HH Prince Bandar bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Saud, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Head of the Saudi Arbitration Team, accompanied with HE Dr. Bakri bin M'atoog Assas, UQU President and Dr. Mohammed bin Wasel al-Hazmi, Vice President for Branches visited King Abdullah Library on Tuesday, 10/05/1435 AH. HH Prince Dr. Bandar bin Salman toured the sections of the library including Digital Library "Manuscripts", sterilization and Numbering. He reviewed the technical procedures, information service, borrowing rules and dissertations. He listened to a detailed explanation by Dr. Adnan al-Harthi, Dean of Library Affairs about the contents of the library including over 800,000 folders and rare manuscripts. He also learned about the scientific services provided to scholars and researchers inside and outside the KSA.
At the end of HH Prince Bandar bin Salman's visit, he received a copy of a book entitled "The Man Beloved by His People,'' which is a biography of King Fahed — May Allah Have Mercy on Him — and a copy of another book entitled "Employing Modern and Old Poetry in Eulogizing King Faisal," which is an analytical study.
