UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi launched the1st Graduates' Forum organized by the College of Applied Medical Sciences in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy, Dean of College of Applied Medical Sciences Dr. Ayman bin Abdul-Rahim Al-Sayegh, college vice deans and graduate students. The forum took place at the supportive hall of King Abdul-Aziz historical hall at the university main campus in Abdyia.

  

At the commencement of the meeting, the Supervisor of the forum's organizing committee and member of the teaching staff in the College of Applied Medical Sciences Dr. Ahmad Al-Arabaein said the graduates forum of the college of applied medical sciences is reckoned the first at the level of the college and is aimed at opening new horizons towards a bright future for students. He added that a constellation of prominent speakers on entrepreneurship, job industry experts and the college graduates who have a positive contribution in serving the nation, were invited to the forum.  

 

After that, Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences Dr. Ayman Al-Sayegh delivered a speech in which he lauded the support and sponsorship of the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail to the forum which will contribute to shaping future map of the college's graduates and enlighten them about the opportunities needed by the labor market. He also lauded the keenness of the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani Ghazi for his honorable presence and participation in the forum's agenda.    

 

He explained that the meeting is set to inspire male and female students to get free from the job waiting barriers and thinking out of the box about the future job in return for the creative skills gained by the college graduates that contribute to generating creative ideas inspired by the national experiences in the field of work and the industry of professional success. He then lauded the teamwork involved in the organizing the forum. 

 

For his part, the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani Ghazi said the general concept of the graduates' career day is set to draw the future practical plan for the college's graduates calling upon the graduates to develop their creative skills in their fields of specializations to become national models in serving their nation, religion, and community. He praised the keenness of the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Bafail and his support to develop the educational environment in all colleges and research institutes in the university to let them keep pace with the Kingdom Vision 2030. He also lauded the efforts of the College Dean Dr. Ayman Al-Sayegh and the members of the forum's organizing committee. Additionally, he conveyed greetings and appreciation of the UQU President to the college of applied medical sciences and the organizing committee for organizing such quality forums which will get his full support for its role in serving students and graduates. 

 

For her part, the UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy reviewed her practical life and her insistence on completing her education until she was granted the honor of serving her university community. She explained that the graduates must continue their education and dreams without despair. " Instead of searching for a job they must create it for themselves", she expounded.   

 

After that, the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship honored the speakers and sponsors of the forum.  

Then, the sessions of the forum started and witnessed participation of several prominent speakers and specialists in the field of innovation, entrepreneurship and the experts in job opportunities industry.
