UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Inspects Deanship of Preparatory Year and College of Community

The UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy paid an inspection visit to the College of Preparatory including the scientific and administrative streams and the College of Community and Continuing Education at Al-Shisha to inspect the educational environment, administrative structure and the academic departments besides checking on the mechanism of workflow in Al-Shisha campus.   

 

She started her inspection visit with the Deanship of Preparatory Year where she was received by the Vice Dean of Preparatory Year for the Scientific and Administrative streams Prof. Aliaa bint Abdullah Al-Jondi, Vice Dean of Preparatory Year for the Medical stream Dr. Azza bint Mohamed Banona and a number of female faculty members and the affiliates of the college. The visit took place on Wednesday Shaaban 9, 1439 H.

 

During her visit, Dr. Sarah inspected the activities and programs which contribute to personal and academic qualification in line with the standards of the modern vision. She also inspected the buildings, units, computer labs, study halls, cafeteria, mosque, central library, medical clinics and the supportive students' services. 

 

The Deanship of Preparatory year reviewed its projects and achievements in line with the Kingdom Vision and explained the initiatives of the community partnership unit.

 

Dr. Sarah also visited the painting exhibition titled: "My Paintbrush's Story" where paintings of the female students were showcased including an explanation of the idea, message, and content of each painting by them. 

 

On this regard, Dr. Sarah lauded the importance of the students the purposeful events and activities which stimulate creativity and innovation and contribute to honing skills of the female students and improving their educational environment in line with the standards of excellence and quality. 

 

Then, Dr. Sarah received an art painting gift from the faculty member in the Deanship of the Preparatory Year Mrs. Alaa Ezat Aqla Al-Khatabia. 

 

After that, the UQU Vice President for Female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy moved to the building of the College of Community and Continuing Education where she was received by the Vice Dean of the College of Community Dr. Zainab bint Mohamed Al-Khidir Qadi and the Vice Dean of the College of Community for Educational Affairs Dr. Jamila bint Mohamed Salti. Dr. Sarah was briefed by   Dr. Zainab about the college vice deanships, units, academic streams besides the programs, activities and training units provided by the college and meet the requirements of both the community and the labor market.

 

During her visit, Dr. Sarah also checked on the investment locations, study halls, training halls, and the computer labs and underscored her keenness to achieve the integration with the Kingdom Vision 2030 which the UQU Vice Presidency for Female Students Affairs endeavor to achieve and set amongst its top priorities.

 

In another context, the UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy attended the graduates forum ceremony of the College of Applied Medical Sciences held under the sponsorship of the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail under the supervision of the Dean of College of Applied Medical Sciences Dr. Ayman bin Abdul-Rahim Al-Sayegh and was implemented by the graduates form teamwork at the college headed by Dr. Ahmad Al-Arbaein. The forum which was held at King Abdul-Aziz Historical hall witnessed participation of the Vice Deans of the College and Heads of the Departments. 

 

Upon her arrival to the forum's venue, she was received by Dr. Haifaa Hijazzi. The forum included several paragraphs, symposia, and meetings set to inspire the graduates with many fascinating success stories of the labor market and opens new horizons of thinking style for them about the future job in light of the modern of the current developmental renaissance. During the forum, a video presentation was made about the reflections of the faculty members and the association of the graduates of the college of applied medical sciences.
