UQU President Reviews Strategic Planning of Shaira College, Receives its Annual Report

President of Umm Al-Qura University Professor Abdullah Omar Bafail reviewed the strategic plan and the annual report of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies. This came during his meeting with the Dean of Sharia College Prof. Ghazi bin Morshid Al-Otaibi and the college vice deans, in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Branches Dr. Abdul-Majeed bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi. The Meeting took place at his office at the university campus in Abdyia. 

 

At the commencement of the meeting, the college dean Prof. Ghazi Al-Otaibi shed light on the college's strategic planning saying that its in tune with the college's mission and the Kingdom Vision 2030 and is aimed at making the college a knowledge beacon with an international impact and an outstanding academic reference in the sharia and history sciences. He indicated that the college through its academic cadre is reckoned a towering figure which provides certified scientific programs and outstanding research products which contribute to serving the community while ensuring the application of quality standards by such mean of localizing modern technologies and creating effective partnerships.    


He then lauded the support and directives of the UQU President Prof. Bafail to upgrade the academic and educational environment in the college so as to become a beacon of sharia and history sciences in the Islamic worlds in addition to its well-established status in the current sciences and the new developments of the era by organizing the necessary symposiums in this regard. He also lauded the efforts exerted by the college vice deans and all its staff.   

 

For his part, the UQU President Prof. Abdulla Omar Bafail valued the support attached to the university by the wise leadership in such manner which contributed to providing a proper educational environment for the educational and research cadres praising the outcomes of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies which owns a vast and extensive experience in the sharia and historical studies and is reckoned a role model for sharia colleges  in its quality programs which are in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. He then called upon everyone to exert more effort to provide high-quality programs in line with the requirements of the labor market.
