In the Presence of UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Pharmacy Club Concludes Its Activities and Events

The Pharmacy Club at Umm Al-Qura University has concluded its activities for the academic year 1438/1439 H, in the presence of the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Sorouji on behalf of the UQU President, the Vice Dean of Students Affairs for Students Activities Dr. Omar Sonbol and the Dean of Pharmacy College Dr. Ahmed Babalghith. The celebration took place at the celebration hall of the Maternity and Children Hospital in Makkah. 

 

Still, the celebration got started with recitation out of the Holy Quran, and then the Dean of Pharmacy College Dr. Ahmed Babalghith delivered speech in which he praised the efforts, activities, and programs of the pharmacy club that implemented 60 programs this year saying that it contributes to honing skills of male and female students and motivating them to present their innovations. He also lauded the keenness of the UQU President Professor Abdulla Bafail, the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs and the Deanship of Students Affairs and their support provided for the activities and programs of the club.  

 

After that, the Vice Dean of Students Affairs for Students Activities Dr. Omar Sonbol delivered speech on behalf of the Dean of Students Affairs in which he highlighted the role undertaken by the students clubs and their efforts and programs which hone and develop skills of the students and help them in their academic and future life  saying that pharmacy club is one of the outstanding clubs in its activities and programs.

 

Then, the attendees viewed a presentation about the achievements of the club and a play titled: "spirit of pharmacy" which as valued by the attendees.

 

Further, the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Sorouji addressed the audience praising the efforts of the pharmacy club and its achievements and programs saying that these clubs are designed to provide the opportunity for the college students to participate in the activities and programs of the deanship of students affairs set to hone their skills. He then extended his thanks to the UQU President Professor Bafail, Deanship of Students Affairs and the Dean of Pharmacy College for these efforts wishing success for everyone. 

 

At the conclusion of the event, the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs honored the heads of the club, the outstanding students and the participants in the activities of the club.
