Da'wa and Islamic Theology College Concludes its Programs and Activities under UQU President's Auspices

The College of Da'wa and Islamic Theology in UQU concluded today, the first Tuesday of Sha’ban 1439AH, its programs and activities in a ceremony it held in the presence of UQU President, Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Amr bin Taha Al-Saqqaff, in addition to the Dean of the College of Da'wa and Islamic Theology, the Vice Deans, and department heads. The ceremony took place at Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Baz hall at the college. 


The ceremony started with reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an. Afterwards, the attendees watched a visual presentation about the college and its departments. The Dean of the College then thanked the President of UQU for his participation in the conclusion of the college’s activities, explaining the role the college plays with its various departments in terms of legitimate and scientific nativization, in addition to serving the Qur’an and Sunnah. The Dean summarized the accomplishments of the college throughout this year and last year, in addition to developing its programs and scientific and research mission, as well as giving care to the various activities that instill higher values within the hearts of students. He then praised the support and attention given by President and Vice Presidents of UQU. Afterwards, the attendees watched a presentation about the achievements of the scientific committee, its activities, and goals within the college of Da'wa and Islamic Theology. Then the General Supervisor of the King Abdullah Chair for the Holy Qur’an, Dr. Yahya Zamzami, spoke about the role of the chair, its objectives, mission and achievements. 


As the ceremony came to a close, the President of UQU for Student Affairs honored the participants in the college's activities and programs. He also honored department heads and the distinguished students. He then examined Da’wah club, its sections, activities and programs.
