The Institute of Research and Consultation Studies (Girls Section) organized a training session entitled, “Marketing Skills” on Wednesday, 11th Rajab 1439H, at the Training Room. The session was presented by Ms. Jawaher Al-Otaiby, Lecturer at the College of Business Administration, in the presence of a group of trainees from inside and outside Umm Al-Qura University (UQU). The session started with explaining the concept of correct marketing, the components of marketing mix, as well as the significance of analyzing the behavior of the consumer and the target market. Moreover, the main elements of the marketing plan and the global pricing strategies were mentioned in the session. The lecturer also explained the significance and the main components of advertising, in addition to, the relationship between psychology and marketing. It is worth mentioning that such session was held within the services provided by the Business Trust Unit for Training and Consultations.
At the end of the session, trainees were awarded attendance certificates approved by the Vice-Deanship for Support of Professional Accreditation. Besides, the Institute of Research and Consultation Studies awarded the lecturer a certificate of appreciation, due to her beneficial presentation, wishing that Allah might grant her guidance and success!
