Umm Al-Qura College of Designs will host the first forum for the Deans of the Colleges of Designs at the Saudi Universities. It will be organized by the College of Designs at King Faisal Hall in the University City in Al-Abediya.
With the participation of the deans, the forum will discuss a number of topics, including the future of the Colleges of Designs, their objectives and programs. This is addition to qualifying the colleges’ graduates for the job market, in a way that is consistent with the Kingdom Vision 2030. At the end of the event, the final statement and the most important recommendations will be presented.
Dr. Hesham bin Abdul Rahman Maghrabi, the Dean of the College of Designs, highlighted that the forum is expected to be holden periodically for discussion, development and raising the level of performance through studying ideas and experiences of the Kingdom’s Colleges of Design. This is in addition to promoting the concept of educational system between the colleges and making use of the experiences and expertise to achieve the mutual objectives, for the important role of the College in promoting its programs and objectives. He lauded the support and consideration of Dr. Abdullah bin Omar BaFail, the UQU President, and his keenness on holding this forum.
