The Colleges of Engineering and Islamic Architecture and Business Administration held a joint meeting on Thursday Dhul-Qe'dah 1, 1437h. It was attended by the Dean of College of Engineering, Dr. Hamza Ghulman and the Dean of the College of Business Administration (BA), Dr. Sultan Al-Bugami, the Vice Dean of BA, Dr. Motalq Al-Otaibi, Dr. Yosri Al-Sayed, Dr. Mohamed Dhaif and Mr. Naseer Shareif. The meeting which took place in the office of the dean of the college of BA comes within the efforts exerted by Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) in accordance with the Kingdom Vision 2030, and to meet the ambitious aspirations to upgrade the Kingdom by developing the educational march in the university and by boosting cooperation between its colleges.  
 

The Dean of the College of BA, Dr. Al-Bogami lauded the meeting and highlighted the follow-up and keenness of UQU President Dr. Assas on the outcomes of this meeting dedicated to discussing a memo of understanding between the two colleges to boost quality, improve the university and meet plans and aspirations of the Adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Governor of Makkah, HRH Prince Khalid Al-Faisal in such a manner which serves Makkah and the management of its developmental projects.   

 

The Meeting discussed the terms of the draft of the agreement which covered several cooperation areas between the two colleges and a number of ideas set by a specialized center dedicated to achieve cooperation in the scientific, administrative and consultancy fields, as well as the researches and studies related to performance and measurement indicators, and linking the draft terms with the works of Hajj and Umrah, projects management and feasibility studies.       

 

The participants in the meeting agreed the draft of the MoU which will be presented before the councils of the two colleges and then forwarded to the competent higher councils of the university for final approval.
