The Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education Dr. Hamed bin Saleh Al-Rabee'i opened on Monday Shawal 20, 1437H a training course under the theme: Rules for Proper Writing and Editing of the Formal Letters, organized by the college for the affiliates of the General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and Prophet's Mosque Affairs, within the framework of the existing cooperation between the General Presidency and the University in the field of training.
Meanwhile Dr. Al-Rabee'i explained that such training courses come as part of the college programs organized within the framework of the existing cooperation between the university and various parties to serve the community. He lauded the keen interest and support shown by the UQU President, Dr. Assas to all the programs and activities of the college.
For his part, the College Vice Dean for Program and Activities, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Talhi said that the course will last for 10 days and will include 40 training units. He added that the course aims at providing the trainees with the skills of functional writing, editing of administrative correspondences, reporting, besides detecting and correcting formal and linguistic errors, after mastering rules of spelling, punctuation and basic grammar.
