Under the kind auspices of His Excellency the President of the University, the event for the Arab Manuscript Day was inaugurated at King Abdullah University Library. The event was also carried out in the female section at King Abdullah University Library. During the event, the President of the University viewed the rare and valuable manuscripts owned by the Library.  

The Manuscript Hall will be open for the Library’s visitors to view on Rajab 18 and 19, 1439 AH. In addition, the event included a scientific lecture entitled “A Look Back on Early Hijazi Calligraphy”; it focused on the early manuscripts of the Holy Quran as well as archeological evidence. There was also the Arabic manuscript training course “From Codicology to Critical Publication” at the hall of the Deanship of Library Affairs, and via the closed television network at King Abdullah University Library in Al-Zaher.
