Deanship of Students Affairs  Launches Traffic Safety  Awareness Campaign Titled: Just Be Okay

The Dean of Students Affairs at Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Amro bin Taha Al-Saggaf launched today the traffic safety campaign under the logo of " Just Be Okay ", at King Saud Hall in the university campus in Abdyia with the participation of the Civil Defense, Zamzam Society, Saudi Red Crescent  and the Modified Cars Group in Makkah. The campaign will last for two days. The event will explain to the visitors the roles undertaken by the different parties involved in the campaign and also will review the role of the Modified Cars Group.   

 

Dr. Al-Saggaf explained that this event comes within the efforts exerted by the Deanship of Students Affairs to educate university students on the importance of adherence to rules of traffic safety, avoiding the dangerous traffic accidents and maintaining their safety against traffic accidents endangering their lives whereas safety maintenance  requires working diligently and honestly to achieve such a thing  as they are a source of our real wealth.  

 

Further, the Dean of Students Affairs referred to the attention paid by the UQU President Dr, Abdullah BaFail and the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji and their keenness to support the programs and activities organized by the deanship. 

 

For his part, the Vice Dean of Students Affairs for Activities and Students Training Dr. Omar Sonbol said this campaign will be followed by awareness campaigns in several aspects including; the traffic safety, and the safety in general for the positive impacts achieved in raising the level of awareness inside our community.
