President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas on Tuesday, Shawal 14 chaired a meeting by the higher committee of promotion. The meeting was attended by the committee's members; UQU Vice-President Dr. Yasser bin Sulleiman Shosho, Dean of the College of Shari'ah and Islamic Studies Saud ibn Ibrahim ibn Muhammad Al Shuraim, Dean of Education College Dr. Ali Mosleh Al Matrafi, Head of the Department of Staff Affairs Mr. Nizar Abbas and Head of the administrative and technical staff section Mr. Marwan Al Salmy.

During the meeting, they discussed a list of promotion that should be given to employees who have completed two-years on level 10 to 13.

The meeting reviewed their details and qualifications needed to get the promotions. The results would be referred to the Ministry of Civil Service (MCS) for endorsement.

Dr. Assas said the meeting is part of the committee's mission to sort and study details of the employees on the level 10 upwards who deserve their regulation promotion. The UQU president hailed efforts exerted by the committee to carry out this job.
