Under the sponsorship of the UQU President Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail, the Deanship of University Development and Quality will organize tomorrow Monday Rajab 16, 1439 H,  the activities of the Faculty Members Forum under the logo of "Towards Teaching that Achieves the Vision", at King Abdul-Aziz Supportive Hall in Abdyia. 

Meanwhile, the Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Mohamed Jaafar Thabit said that the forum provides the opportunity for all university community to build effective work relations and discuss common issues closely related to the duties of the faculty member through the provided communication and discussion opportunities which will play a positive role in expanding faculty member's work sphere, increasing his gained expertise, enriching the university community and boosting educational process to keep pace with the national transformation plan and contribute to achieving the Kingdom Vision 2030. 

He further noted the importance of the forum's program as one of the pillars of the quality system and a tool to support and disseminate the culture of innovation and excellence. "Whereas quality requires providing the proper environment for the faculty member, develop his culture and skills, support him to interact with the work environment besides introducing the university components, systems and services to the new faculty member in addition to their rights and duties", he expounded.

He went on to add that the program targets current faculty members and persons of similar status, faculty members on contracts,  newly appointed faculty members, and those who came back from scholarship. He indicated that the forum will include a number of activities such as an exhibition to showcase the services of the deanship and the relevant departments in the university besides some external parties, public lecture about the university education, and discussion panel for selected topics in the field of higher education.

Concluding his speech, Dr. Thabit lauded the keenness of UQU President Prof. Abdullah Omar Bafail, and the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship Dr. Hani bin Osman Ghazi,  and their support provided to all the deanship's programs and activities.
