The UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Kholy made an inspection visit to the headquarters of the Deanship of University Studies for Girls at Rea Zhakhir campus to check on the educational environment in the colleges and academic departments and inspect the mechanism of work progress. She was accompanied by the Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls at Rea Zakhir and the Advisor to the UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Salwa bint Mohamed Al-Mihmadi.
During her visit, Dr. Sarah checked on workflow mechanism at the e-testing Center Qiyas, the computer lab, library, medical center clinics and the supportive students services.
The Vice Dean of University Studies for Girls at Rea Zakhir and the Advisor to the UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Salwa Al-Mihmadi explained that the Deanship of University Studies for Girls at Rea Zakhir includes College of Business Administration with its marketing and business administration sections, the first-year female students in the departments of Arabic and English Languages. She then lauded the keenness of the UQU Vice President for female students Affairs to creating the proper educational environment which meets requirements of the academic programs.
She went on to add that the Deanship of University Studies for Girls at Rea Zakhir is very keen to build and boost the practical side of all study courses in an integrated manner to achieve the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the strategy of the Vice Deanship of University Studies for Girls. She referred to the importance of activating the role model initiative within Makkah Cultural Program overseen by Makkah Region Emirate and the mechanism of embracing the talents of female students and turning them into outstanding entrepreneurships. “That is to be added to achieving the integration in the strategic vision of the courses in the research and consultancy centers in all universities, establishing volunteering teams in the UQU vice Deanship of University Studies for Girls and building the youth leadership initiative”, she expounded.
In turn, the UQU Vice President for female Students Affairs Dr. Sarah Al-Kholy praised the exerted efforts and the valuable initiatives attached and still to the university to develop the academic and educational environment to keep path with the National Transformation Plan 2020 and the Kingdom Vision 2030 in line with the directives and aspirations of the wise leadership. She added that the purpose of this tour is to directly inspect the administrative, educational and research process and shedding light on the positives to develop and promote them.
She highlighted that she aspires to develop the administrative work at the girls' section in a way that is consistent to the Kingdom Vision 2030 towards the electronic governance, to contribute to serving and promoting the academic and research environment, and achieving one of the main goals which the Kingdom aims at achieving in the coming period.
