The Acting Emir of Makkah, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, has received 16 books of the editions of King Salman bin Abdulaziz's Chair for the Studies of the History of Makkah. Prince Abdullah received the books at his reception of the President of UQU, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assass alongside with members of the Advisory Board of the Chair, at the Council of the Emirate in the Holy Capital,
The President of UQU explained that the editions of the Chair are estimated to be 21, containing 55 research in various historical, civilizational, political, administrative, economic, social, and constructional aspects, in addition to aspects related to the antiquities, heritage, and documents in Makkah. Dr. Assass pointed out that the Chair seeks to contribute to achieving the objectives of the kingdom’s 2030 vision through bringing out the kingdom’s historic depth and all the historic landmarks and Islamic antiquities it contains.
