Under the patronage of Umm Al-Quran University (UQU) President, Dr. Bakri bin Matouq Assas, and in the presence of UQU vice presidents, deans, Al-Lith University College Dr. Mohamed Al-Maleki, a number of the faculty members and male and female students; the Deanship of Student Affairs organized the closing ceremony of the 9^th Scientific Forum for UQU students for the academic year 1438-1439. This forum is an annual scientific event organized by the UQU Deanship of Student Affairs through which the students provide their scientific and research and innovative work in various tracks of forum.

In this forum, Al-Lith University College gained high positions at the university level. Khaled Al-Maleki, a student at the Department of Physics, won the first rank at the university level in the scientific research track, while Ali Al-Barkati, a student at the same department, gained the third position at  recital (This is me), and the fourth position in the track of innovation and business. Zakia Al-Barqi, a student, also gained the third position in the artistic work, the paintings of university plazas track. 

The dean congratulated the students who gained top places in this scientific competition at the university level in its headquarters and different branches, as they well represented the college through their utilization of their abilities and scientific achievement; praying to Allah that they continue their distinction and creativity in all fields they aced. He also thanked and appreciated the college coordinators, Mr. Haroun Takrouni, and Dr. Iman Al-Lahibi as well as the faculty members who support the students. 

Noteworthy, the number of participations in Al-Lith University College exceeded 36, male and female students. The competition and short-listing the competitors was made at the level of Al-Lith College, and then they gained these high positions at the level of UQU colleges and institutes at its headquarters and different branches.
