Within the framework of cooperation between Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) and the Ministry of Commerce and Investment (MCI), the “Aware” initiative was launched on Sunday, 23rd Jumada II 1439H at the headquarters of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club, UQU. The initiative by MCI aims to raise awareness of consumption reduction within the Saudi society.
In this regard, the initiative was based on two themes. The first theme was a seminar at the headquarters of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club. It was presented by Mr. Aburrahman Al-Radady (Director of MCI Branch in Makkah), Mr. Thamer Al-Nufei’y and Mr. Nayef Qablan Al-Otaiby. The second theme included a visit to UQU campus to raise awareness and distribute beneficial informative publications among students.
