Vice-President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) Dr. Yasser bin Sulleiman Shosho paid a visit Sunday Ramadan 21, 1437H to the Girls Section in Al-Zahir to inspect study chambers, linguistics laboratories and service facilities. He was accompanied by head of the Department of Operation, Maintenance and Services Eng. Abdel Mohsen Al Ahmedy along with the Public Relations officials.

He toured a number of chambers, linguistic laboratories for non-native speakers, foyer's facilities and the entertainment hall in addition to other buildings. During his visit, Eng. Al Ahmedy briefed him about the needs met and works accomplished by the Department of Operation, Maintenance and Services.

The Vice-president concluded his visit giving thanks to the department's employees for creating a favorable study environment that fit the UQU's students. Also, he hailed them on efforts exerted to overcome challenges. He thanked Education Minister Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Issa and President of Umm Al Qura University Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas over their support to the department. He underscored key roles played by the employees who promote positive climate of education at the boys and girls sections.
