The UQU's College of Dentistry, in cooperation with Al-Wehda Club, has launched a campaign to raise awareness among pilgrims. Up to 200 Umrah pilgrims attended awareness sessions from Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Syria and Turkey.
The campaign was supported by President of Umm Al Qura University (UQU) Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas and held under direct supervision of vice-dean for clinical affairs Dr. Hassan bin Sulaiman Hazazi. It included activities that raise awareness on mouth health and that educate pilgrims on the best toothbrushing techniques. Theatrical performances were on the campaign's agenda.
The College and the Club presented gifts and held Suhoor banquet in honor of the participants. Pilgrims thanked the organizers on their efforts and extended gratitude to the Ministry of Education, General Presidency of Youth Welfare (GPYW), the College of Dentistry and Al-Wehda Club on the event.
