President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas has checked  on today morning Thursday Jumada Al-Thani 20, 1439 H, King Abdullah University Library in Abdyia in the presence of the acting Dean of Library Affairs Dr. Mohamed Al-Lhaiby. In his visit, Dr. Assas inspected the most important programs provided by the library to the beneficiaries including; faculty members, students and community.  

He listened to an elaborate presentation by the acting Dean of Library Affairs Dr. Mohamed Al-Lhaiby about the work mechanism in the central library and services and training courses provided particularly for students and university affiliates. He also inspected the rare manuscripts and old photos.  

Concluding his visit, Dr. Assas praised the various scientific resources in different fields of sciences available in the library. He also lauded the efforts exerted by the library affiliates which contributed to the excellence of services provided for students and university community urging them to exert more effort to achieve the sought-after objectives  in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. He then  congratulated Dr. Mohamed Al-Lhaiby on the occasion of designating him as the acting Dean of Library Affairs and wished him all success in serving the university. 

For his part, the acting Dean of Library Affairs Dr. Mohamed Al-Lhaiby extended his thanks to the President of the University for visiting the library and for his permanent support and keeness to highlight all program and services of the university and prayed Allah to grant them success.
