Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assass, the President of UQU, has issued a decision to appoint Dr. Sarah bint Omar bin Fathi Al-Khouli as the UQU Vice President for Student Affairs for a period of three years, starting from 16 Jumada Al-Akhira 1439AH. His decision came based on the decision of the Standing Committee responsible for the specialties of the (canceled) Higher Education Council no. (2/15/1439) which was issued on 29 Jumada Al-Oula 1439AH in its 15th meeting to establish a Vice Presidency for Student Affairs.
The decision of Dr. Assass came in light of the university’s comprehensive development movement in all fields. This is an attempt to continue the efforts of the university to achieve its objectives, vision and mission, becoming a leader in specific programs and activities that are in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision, especially regarding women’s roles, affairs, and the attention they receive from the wise leadership to empower them and allow them to actively contribute to developing their homeland. The UQU President asked God to help Dr. Al-Khouli perform her duty towards science and the students, as well as develop UQU to make it reach its desired objective.
