Deanship of Admission and Registration Launches Early Admission Programs for the Coming Year

President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas launched the workshop implemented by the Deanship of Admission and Registration during his meeting today at his office at the Abdyia-based campus with the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz bin Rashad Al-Sorouji, the Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim bin Ahmed Al-Samadani, Dean of Information Technology Dr. Fahad bin Mohamed Al-Dossari, and the Vice-dean of IT for e-Transactions, Dr. Atif Al-Hejaili. The meeting was attended by the UQU Vice President Dr. Yassir Shoushou.

  

At the commencement of the meeting, the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Sorouji expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for his support and permanent follow-up for whatever benefits the university students and those in charge of serving them particularly with respect to facilitating admission procedures and harnessing technology in saving their time and effort.   

 

After that, the Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hashim Al-Samadani provided  a detailed explanation on the admission mechanisms for the coming academic year 1439/1440 H as part of the early preparations of the Admission in this regard and within the efforts of  exploiting all energies and human and technology capabilities  for the convenience of all applicants via the unified Admission e-portal of the university. He stressed that launching the admission workshop by the UQU President comes as part of the early preparations taken by the Deanship to harness all its human and technology capabilities to provide admission opportunities according to easy and accessible mechanisms for the applicants.        

  

Dr. Al-Samadani explained that the workshops implemented and still by the Deanship in collaboration with the Deanship of Information Technology will focus on the technical and procedural aspects of the admission process for the coming academic year indicating that some automated programs will be applied for the first time this year.  

 

It should be noted that the Deanship of Admission and Registration started to implement the first workshop in this regard on Wednesday Jumada Al-Thani 12, 1439 H.
