The UQU scouts have won the Banner of Honor at the morning visit to the Ramadan Service Camp organized by the Arab Scouts Association. As per the camp leaders' assessment, the UQU scouts team got the highest score, and deserved the award.
The morning visit, upon which the "Banner of Honor" is awarded, is deemed to be one of the most important scouting traditions carried out in camps and courses, aiming at training participants in such events on cleanliness, good order and good looking, as well as cultivating such values as fair competition, good behavior and self-dependency. Assessment is usually based on scouting forms, hygiene, good-looking, scouting uniform, ventilation, and meeting commitments.
On this occasion, Dr. Amr Taha al-Saqqaf, Dean of Student Affairs, extended sincere thanks to the UQU President and the Vice President for Educational Affairs for showing keen interest in, and colossal support for all activities of the Deanship of Student Affairs.
