The UQU President, Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq Bakri Assas has issued an administrative decision appointing Dr. Hatim bin Mohamed Mohamed Al-Tus as the acting Dean of the College of Applied Sciences. The decision is made in light of comprehensive development movement at UQU with the aim of achieving UQU objectives and future vision, which complies with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Assas lauded the dedicated efforts of the former dean, Dr. Waleed bin Jameel Altaf, which contributed to upgrading the educational environment in the college, noting that those efforts had the biggest part in UQU improvement accompanied by with blessing of Allah and support from the government of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Then he wished Al-Tus success in his next step of his career.
On the other hand, Assas congratulated Dr. Al-Tus on his designation as the Dean of Graduate Studies, reiterating the importance of hard work to upgrade the educational system in the college and develop the work of the former dean. He then wished the new dean good luck and success.
On his part, Dr. Al-Tus expressed appreciation to the UQU President for entrusting him with the role of the acting Dean of Applied Sciences College, assuring that with Allah's blessing, he will be up to the UQU President's expectations. Al-Tus commended the efforts of the former dean and maintained that he will develop them in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and National Transformation Plan 2020.
