President of Umm Al Qura University Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Assas on Monday, Ramadan 15 approved the employment of a new management team at the Department of Operation, Maintenance and Services. He signed the decision during a meeting with Vice-President Dr. Yasser bin Sulleiman Shosho and head of the department Mohsen Al Ahmedy.
Dr. Assas listened to detailed explanation given by Mr. Al Ahmedy about the new management members and their job description. Changes were made and new posts were created according to the new structure.
Extending congratulations on the restructuring, the president said the operation department plays a key role in following up the maintenance and cleaning of the colleges and classes. It is also responsible for carrying out the infrastructure works and creating a favorable environment for the UQU's employees, he said, hailing the vice-president for his keenness on the development of different departments at the university.
For his part, Dr. Shosho thanked Dr. Assas on his support to the development efforts in general and the operation department in particular. As a key player, the Department of Operation, Maintenance and Services at Umm Al-Qura University assumes the responsibility for building maintenance, cleaning, and the meeting chambers equipment, the vice-president said. The new organization structure is expected to improve the work cycle at the university.
