The final match for UQU President Futsal Cup was played on Monday, 3rd Jumada II 1439H, at 8:00 pm at the Sports Hall, Abediyah Campus. The College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture played against the College of Applied Medical Sciences.
The match was attended by Dr. Amr Taha Al-Saqqaf (Dean of Student Affairs), Dr. Hamza Ghalman (Dean of the College of Engineering and Islamic Architecture), Dr. Ayman Al-Sayegh (Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences), Dr. Fahd Al-Dosary (Dean of Information Technology), the vice-deans of Student Affairs, as well as a number of UQU staff members.
The original periods ended 3/3, and therefore penalty kicks were applied. The match ended with the Engineering College team awarded the cup and the gold medals. It is worth mentioning that a team of the participating colleges will be formed to represent UQU in the Futsal Cup of Saudi Universities Sports Federation.
