UQU Prepares 600 Employees in Strategic Planning

The UQU Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship, represented in the Deanship of Development and Quality for academic has concluded the training program organized for 600 of the university staff including faculty members, employees, and students during the academic year 1438/1439 H.  They were trained in  writing and wording the university's strategic plan through workshops presented by the international certified trainer in the field of strategic planning Dr. Ayman Jawharji with the assistance of Dr. Somayia Sharaf. 

 

The Dean of University Development and Quality Dr. Mohamed Jaafar Tabit said the workshop tackled the concept of strategic planning, its importance, steps and how to form a strategic planning team passing through analysis phase in which all contents of the external environment was analyzed, besides discussing the weakness and strength points as well as the opportunities and challenges, and measuring performance indicators; all with the aim of setting a well-established executive plan.

    

For his part, the UQU Vice President for Development and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Ghazi, said that the UQU Vice Presidency for Development and Entrepreneurship, represented in the Deanship for University Development and Qualitative Quality embarked during the current academic year 1438/1439 H on providing training for 600 of its affiliates in the field of writing and wording the university's strategic plan including; 200 employees, 200 students, and 200 faculty members. 


He explained that after ending the program the subsequent phase will be launched by setting the university's strategic plan so as for the mentioned above categories to contribute to implementing and following up execution of the strategic plan physically in the future. He then extended his thanks to all who contributed to the success of these workshops lauding the follow-up and keenness of the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for upgrading the work system in the university. "Thanks to Allah in the first place, the university is taking steady steps to keeping pace with the Kingdom Vision 2030 depending on its training programs and objectives", he expounded.
