President of Umm Al-Qura University Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas received the book of Physical rehabilitation of injuries from the Professor of Injuries and Rehabilitation in the Department of Physical Education, College of Education Dr. Midhat Qasim in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education Dr. Ali bin Mosleh Al-Matrafi. The Meeting took place at the UQU President's office at the university campus in Abdyia.
Speaking about his book, Dr. Qasim said: it includes exercises about knee roughness and back and neck pains besides rehabilitation programs for the period following Knee ligament and cartilage surgeries amongst athletes. He added that the book also explains devices and secrecies used in rehabilitation and physical therapy. Concluding his speech, he lauded the support provided by the UQU President Dr. Bakri Assas for the scientific research process.
For his part, UQU President Dr. Bakri bin M'atooq bin Bakri Assas lauded the support attached by the wise leadership to the programs and activities of the university in the bid to place Umm Al-Qura within the list of the top global universities. He also lauded the content of the book which reviews a number of programs in the physical therapy process praising such scientific initiative which contribute to boosting scientific research in the university.
