The President of UQU, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assass, has issued an administrative decision to amend the name of the: (Vision Achievement Office at UQU) to: (Vision Initiatives Management Office at UQU). He changed the affiliation of the office from the Vice President of UQU for Development and Entrepreneurship to become directly affiliated to him and under his general supervision, especially in terms of all the university’s initiatives in the Saudi Arabian 2030 Vision and the 2020 National Transition program.

This decision comes in the light of the university's comprehensive development movement in all fields. This aims to continue the efforts of the University in the process of hard work to achieve its objectives, vision, and future mission to be a pioneer in various programs and activities, in accordance with the 2030 Vision of Saudi Arabia.  This stems from the university’s desire to work in accordance with the governance framework of the 2020 National Transition Program in the education sector, as well as to create high quality outputs according to strategic planning that meets the desired development requirements and contributes to realizing the 2030 Vision of Saudi Arabia.
